Well, I have a slip of free time so i can blog, finally for once in weeks. Life's tough. I've beginning not to care about that person anymore, since it just kills me to care about her. Gah. It's really showing that i posess a weak, uncontrolled mind. I mean, It takes me like one and a half years or so? To learn how to let go of things like that. I think that my care and concern is just going back on me and i'm exerting myself too much to do things for people and being nice, and all that stuff.

Well, i'm just going to post a whole load of stuff now my mum's taking so long to change.

School is slack i guess, spent three weeks or so having tests, doing stuff..continue later. gotta go, my brother's performance.

Now, i feel as if i should have just turned back the clock over a million things, because i did things that i didn't want to do, took care of people to the irritation point, made myself go on bad terms with someone i have come to be friends with, and made myself dead with over rated fake grief, over the death in my family. This sounds like an excuse right? I know half the people out there are thinking it is. I wish i myself were dead. I read the stuff on the school system. Well, it's one more year till i flung everything and get thrown to It's The End (ITE).

Being such a bastard myself, i think i should really have just gutted myself open for not controlling my feelings on a particular person, V's Blog, and just enlightened her for the world to see and for her and seniors to admit that i am a qualified, with masters, graduated fucking idiot from the school of technical stupidity. I just want to get a degree in mass communication and live life, fuckhead. Wait, aern't i supposed to be the one getting depressed and less angry?


WELL. One more thing. Why is it my fault? So maybe i tried too hard. I just am concerned, just want to care, looks like it's really on me. So call me captain backfire! -seethes with anger.- Oh, "I'm never speaking up again, It only hurts me." My stupid mouth, has really, really got me into "Trouble" now.

It's a strange thing to see people you knew yesterday just pass away.

Today we cremated my grand uncle. Normally i wouldn't care about deaths as i know it's a process of life. But it's different. Though i'm not close to him, i can see how their family members feel when i look in their eyes, it's a saddening sight. It's like some part of their soul just died along with him. Strange. It's like a wound in the mind that's a vaccum..an echo. Something that just needs help but can't be helped. It's like the times when you're really upset, and you're just looking at the dead person so long, you realise that you're looking beyond him, just looking and thinking till you finally get the answer..which never seems to come.

It's like your strength just failed on the spot, and you don't know why or how to solve it, and you're just stuck there.

This is an essay i'm doing, it's not finished. You guys should read this as this concerns students.



Corporal Punishment: Why we should not enforce this in schools.

In these times, the education system has seen the need to discipline some students. These punishments range from mere verbal warnings to corporal punishment, such as suspension and public caning, and it has been proved and seen to be very useful in keeping bad students, and the rest of the student population in line. However, it has been argued that perhaps schools should not use corporal punishment as a way to discipline students in view of many special cases that arise from this act. These cases range from traumatic experiences, permanent physical injury, and even to the point of suicidal nature, and some people have protested to the government or the Ministry of education to take this matter into consideration. So, should we as students, take this matter into our own hands and decide our terms of punishment? Let us take a look at corporal punishment on its different sides.

Corporal punishment helps to promote discipline by instilling fear and respect for teachers and the higher authorities. It also helps to prevent serious crimes being committed in the student population by making them think twice before breaking the law, and at the same time educates the students into differentiating the right actions from the wrong actions. All these have been proven to be in effect in most schools in Singapore, and enforcing corporal punishment raises the image of the school as some people see it as a morally upright exercise. However, there is another side to this corporal punishment. There have been cases whereby the punishment is too effective- Students being scarred both emotionally and physically, Extreme fear or phobia of corporal punishments, and as said earlier, even development of a suicidal personality. The emotional scarring, instead of reminding the student not to commit any more offences, can instead encourage the student to fear going to school and also develop hateful feelings towards the school. What’s even worse is that when this hatred of school develops, the student can become more rebellious and start to oppose school or commit more crimes instead of taking the message and studying, as the school wants he or she to. Also, punishment like this destroys the reputation and dignity of the student being caned, and can lead to the emotional problems mentioned earlier. This is because ordinary students will avoid this person, as they know that he has committed a serious offence and is indeed a bad influence. Some people will find fun in calling this person names or labeling him offensive and vulgar terms, and sometimes even friends will break their relations with this person. This is the complete opposite, and the result of corporal punishment being enforced on students. However, this is not the one and only way to solve discipline problems. There are a plethora of other ways avaliable that can be put in use. Let us now look at these other suggestions as substitutes or alternatives to corporal punishment.

One week gone by, a load of crap.

I won't post about myself, I'll do that later. I understand, there are people who fight for what they want, or they are enthusiastic with themselves or take things really seriously. I do too. But listen. Who the fucking hell, (emphasis on the fucking, I'm really pissed off and angry about this.) Gives you the right to accuse someone publicly? Refer to vanessa's blog. There is a person there, a member of cca who does not understand the concept of human relations. Why? Because of some personal problems, Vanessa cannot attend band. What does this person do? Shame her publicly, with the defence that "I'm just trying to make her wake up, she's like a child." Please, she's carrying an immense burden! If someone just told you off in the middle of your dad's or close relative's funeral for not attending cca, how would you feel? I wouldn't feel very good. In fact, either sad, angry, or ticked to the point of borderline-berserk. So guys. Help her, please.

And to that person who denounced her, Please, Please! Will you not help her instead of scolding her?!
