Life’s most Persistent Question is: What are you doing for others? Good Morning Gentlemen, Today, I am here to talk about one of the most Important, yet Ignored subject; Environmental Conservation. For the past few decades of technological progress, man has been consumed and Blinded by his success of discovering advances, and the money gained by these inventions of the new millennium. But what we are unaware of, is the natural recourses needed for these Gadgets, and the amount of waste produced in proportion to production, which is becoming a great problem in third-world countries which have no proper waste disposal.
But what are the first and second world countries, which produce such technology, doing? Most of the time they are focused on economics rather than care for other things like waste and the environment; The minds of the office workers are filled with facts, figures, timesheets and other things of human invention, But almost none, have the awareness of what these things can cause to the world and affect the lives of other human beings! The Cold, Hard truth that is hidden from us is that in these countries that produce raw recourses, the environment there is Degrading slowly, bit by bit and Killing species of Plants, animals and desecrating fertile land that mother earth has formed over millions of years. And what are these people doing? They continue to research more on these technologies, improve them, and even create more gadgets. Those who have the awareness to see the truth in this have tried to rouse changes, but mostly they have failed, and contributions and changes have been minimal. What is even worse is that some countries that hold these natural recourses are either exploited, or exploiting the people of their own country, to create profit at the cost of precious, Irreplaceable trees and plants. As a result, the earth has changed dramatically. In places of the world, Sea levels have risen due to Global Warming, The Melting of the Icecaps, People are suffering from the effects of cancer due to pollution, and countries are experiencing climatic changes.
What will Happen if we do not act now? The answer is simple. Slowly, the world will change until many plants and animals are killed out of extinction for the purpose of technology. Because in the ecosystem, one species depends on the other, Human beings face a difficult time ahead. Climates will change, and there is a great possibility that we can become extict ourselves in the long run.. So what can we do now? You can start very simply in your own home. Pick up litter and throw it In the bin, and encourage others to do so as well. Actively participate in Pro-Green Events and as before, encourage others to do the same. Spread the word and Tell others about the risks of continuing this lifestyle and our last chance to change the course of life. So I urge you today, Support environmental Conservation, and convince others to help this cause. We may be enjoying ourselves now in this present era, but it is our children who will pay the price and suffer the pain and agony of living in a broken world!
Thank you.
