Listening to: Clubbed to death.
Mood: Still SO DARN PLEASED!
I'm back. Well, I had tution with pamela again, she looks really, really, really..sweet without glasses..especially when she smiles..-Blushes- haha! And I realised she is from CHIJ! How cool is that? Well, on with my school. well, after the field trip i went to see mes Jane Chloe, who is so damn nice to us! hahaha! well, actually everyone's cool and stuff. I have to say, I love ACS Barker lots and lots and lots. Seriously. Down here, it's like, no longer kiddies and stuff, they talk to you like real people, like guys on the street and stuff. you come in class, say a greeting, get lessons started..And in class, the teacher lets you do whatever you wish to do, sit cross legged, stretched out, whatever. But one thing i see in my class, is that they know how and when to shut up, how and when to talk, and i can see that the teachers return that respect to us.

So Generally, ACS, it teaches maturity and understanding respect and stuff, and i love that to bits. The teachers are understanding people, they talk to us, get to know each of us personally. Although it's a tough time ahead, they know that and try to make school as comfortable for us to the best of their ability. One other thing i really am proud of, Is my principal, Mr Ng Eng Chin. The fantastic things he does, the support he gives to us students, and the respect we give in return is absolutely incredible and amazing. He's not the kind that shouts and screams, he understands you, knows you personally, and tries to suit acs to your needs. He punishes not in harsh words, but a program called BCP, or Behaviour Coaching programme. This is when you are told to go to the discipline department, and a discipline master and mistress will take your particulars. Then, you just explain why you did the offence, what you think made you do it, and what you will do effectively to not commit the offence again. They will sit you down, and ask you to think over 10-20 mins, sometimes longer. THen, you are free to go. just like that.

Also, CCA is undoubtly amazing. they trust you to come into the Learning center to do your stuff between 2-3 pm. you sign in, do your stuff, and everyone goes home at 5pm. very simple, and effective. My cca is publications by the way, does web design (I'm in charge of that) School magazine, publishes articles. We have achieved many awards ad stuff, but most importantly we have built up a sense of belonging , loyalty and responsibility to our cca, school and it's people.

ONe more thing..the school spirit is amazing...at competitions, we scream and shout like shit, till our throats hurt, but who cares? we continue screaming. THe support at games with other schools, are incredible. even in non-competetive sports, and in societies like us, we keep the morale and spirit going on by taking breaks, joking and playing around. one thing i admire is they know when to work, and when to play.

anyways, overall, ACS BARKER rocks, super freaking big time. I wouldnt miss it for the world. -grins!- okays, I gtg now, go dinner. ciaos everyone, hope you have a great time in school! ^.^
